The Motus App provides convenient access to your Motus account on the go, allowing you to easily manage your business mileage log from anywhere. With instant creation and cloud-saving of IRS-compliant mileage logs, you can have peace of mind in case of an audit. This app empowers you to focus on what matters most in your day.

GPS Configuration
For employers with enabled GPS capabilities, the Motus App offers additional features:
- "Set it and forget it" - track business mileage automatically throughout your day by setting your business hours
- Automatic detection of business stops
- Auto-population of address, location name, and custom fields provided by your company
- Map view displaying the day's route and stops
- Capture of stop and trip durations
- Application of appropriate commute deductions
- User-initiated option to turn off automatic tracking and record business mileage manually for each trip
- Optional push notifications to remind you to start/end mileage recording daily, as well as input trip details based on location
- Route planning and optimization to help increase route efficiency
Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can significantly decrease battery life. While Motus is designed to limit GPS and battery usage, we recommend charging your device while driving to extend battery power.
